WORTH Partnership
The WORTH Partnership Project is a design innovation initiative of the European Union, supporting partnerships between SMEs and start-up, designers, manufacturers and technology firms to create innovative and design-driven products and ideas. Our founder Natsai Audrey Chieza was invited to be a member of the steering board for their 2nd call for applications that took place in Valencia, Spain. Natsai evaluated talent from the backgrounds of accessories, footwear, furniture, home decoration, jewellery, leather, fur, textiles and fashion. The panelist of selected judges also included Zowie Broach (Head of Fashion at London’s Royal College of Arts); Kendall Robbins (Senior Program Manager British Council’s Architecture, Design and Fashion Team); Julia Koerner (JK Design GMBH/Assistant Adjunct Professor A.UD UCLA); Pirjo Kääriäinen (Professor of Practice, Design Driven Fibre Innovation, Aalto University of Finland); Sebastian Thies (Founder & Designer of Brand Nat-2™)
Winners of the 2nd call included Modern Knit, Second Life Bag and Recyclable Sneakers. Visit Worth Partnership to view all winners and learn more about next year’s open call.
