The 2nd episode of Ferment TV deep-dives into emergent ecologies—conceptual and territorial—that are transforming art and science at multiple scales.
Dr Corrie Moreau, Cornell University’s Professor of Arthropod Biosystematics and Biodiversity and Director and Curator of the Cornell University Insect Collection, speaks with Anicka Yi, an artist whose work fuses multi-sensory experiences with synthetic and evolutionary biology. In a conversation moderated by Natsai Audrey Chieza, they address the types of knowledges that mediate human understanding and agency over biodiversity, and how nurturing multi-species relations can establish enduring systems of care.
