Faber Futures selected as one of the grantees of UKRI’s £11.5m bioinnovation boost set to transform UK manufacturing

We are excited to announce that we have been selected as a grantee of and have received an allocation of funding from the UKRI £11.5 million bioinnovation boost, aimed at advancing sustainable biomanufacturing in the UK. In partnership with Evolutor, a start-up pioneering precision fermentation for advanced biomaterials, we will test and develop renewable feedstocks for our microbial dye technology. By harnessing industrial side streams, we aim to create a circular and resilient value chain for textile dyeing and the wider fashion industry, with a focus on decentralising biomanufacturing to enable broader market participation.
