Dezeen Day 2019
We are delighted to announce that our founder Natsai Audrey Chieza will speak at Dezeen Day on 30 October. Natsai will be joined on the post-plastic materials panel by architect Arthur Mamou-Mani and designer Nienke Hoogvliet.
The conference will aim to set the agenda for the global design community, tackling key topics including circular design, new materials and education. It will also highlight new talent from around the world and feature keynote lectures from Paola Antonelli, senior curator of architecture and design at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and multidisciplinary artist, Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg. Architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Tokyo studio Klein Dytham Architecture will host a special edition of their rapid-fire presentation format PechaKucha at the conference, and Dezeen readers are invited to propose themselves as speakers.
Dezeen Day will take place at the newly renovated BFI Southbank in London on the same day as the Dezeen Awards winners’ party, where award winners from around the world will receive their awards.
